The programs of the Wisconsin Foundation for School Music, Wisconsin School Music Association and Wisconsin Music Educators Association support more than 80,000 music students and teachers each year. In addition, the Wisconsin Center for Music Education located in Waunakee serves music students, teachers and community members with diverse music educational programs and resources.

Wisconsin Center for Music Education

The Wisconsin Center for Music Education, located in Waunakee, Wisconsin (just north of Madison) serves music teachers, students and community members with diverse music education programs and resources. Wisconsin School Music Association State Honors Music Project Endowment Fund

Each year more than 3,500 dedicated young musicians audition for the 700 Chairs available in the WSMA High School State Honors and Middle Level ensembles. The Honors Endowment Plan offers donors the opportunity to endow and name one of the 700 Chairs. An Endowed Student Chair provides an annual full-tuition grant to a student participant. An Endowed Conductor Chair pays the entire cost for the designated conductor each year.
